Our family-owned and operated Long Day Care with Integrated Kindergarten offers the best of both worlds — the flexibility of full-day care, together with the rich learning of a government-approved kindergarten program, all under one loving roof.
Here, children thrive in a warm, consistent environment where our dedicated, qualified educators know them deeply and celebrate who they are. Every day is filled with meaningful learning experiences that build confidence, curiosity, and school readiness.
Age Group
Infant Community
(6 months – 18 months)
Our Infant Community offers a calm, nurturing space where babies feel safe and loved. Educators respond to each child’s cues, supporting early development through sensory play, movement, and connection. This stage builds the foundation for secure relationships, communication, and curiosity
Toddler Community
(18 months – 3 years)
In our Toddler Community, growing independence and exploration are nurtured through hands-on learning. Educators guide children as they develop language, social skills, and self-help abilities. The program encourages choice, movement, and routine, setting the stage for deeper learning and confidence.
Kindergarten Community
(3 years – 6 years)
Our Kindergarten Community blends structured and play-based learning to prepare children for school and life. Through the Montessori-Reggio hybrid approach, children explore topics that interest them while building skills in literacy, numeracy, problem-solving, and emotional regulation — all in a warm, inclusive environment.

We really love our daughters educators at nexus. They clearly really care. We also love the Montessori method. There is plenty of free play time but we notice our kid has a really long attention span and we believe that is in part because of the way Montessori does their "work cycle". Our little one also loves to learn and do puzzles. She has made a really great little bestie and we feel very comfortable with the care she receives.

The entire team, from the office manager to the educators and kitchen staff are all so caring. My kids have been going there since 2021 and because it’s a small centre, they know the families and siblings. They’ve been really supportive of my son’s journey with NDIS and recently had an amazing and intimate kinder graduation ceremony - it was at the centre after hours and it was relaxing for us parents because we were able to have conversations with other grown-ups knowing our kids were safe. Well done team!

Both of my children have been going to Nexus since they were one and a half years old. The teachers there are very attentive to the children and will communicate with the parents in a timely manner to solve any problems. Many teachers are very experienced, both in caring for children and helping them grow professionally. As a parent, I will recommend all my friends to go to Nexus!

Nexus isn't a typical childcare centre, it's a community where kids develop their own passions and skills at their own pace with the support and guidance from the most beautiful and caring educators. The Montessori curriculum has been pivotal in my kids' development and confidence to try new things and build life skills that will set them up for the future. The wonderful programs have introduced them to concepts and ideas about the world and different cultures. It has definitely sparked their curiosity and excitement for learning. All of the staff have been very accommodating and have gone the extra mile to ensure that my kids' individual needs are supported and that they can feel safe and comfortable to be themselves. Their growth and development due to the support of such a dedicated team of educators has been amazing to watch and I can't thank them enough.
