Adventures in Stories
During Book Week, children didn’t just read books — they stepped into stories, performed them, and created their own!
In Aurora Toddler, little ones became “caterpillar explorers” inspired by The Very Hungry Caterpillar, using tongs to feed the caterpillar and strengthen fine motor skills while discovering the joy of growth and change.
In Orion Kinder, children enjoyed an immersive storytelling session with teachers from Holstep Community, then designed their own library bags, proudly showcasing their creativity and love for reading.
Kinder children went on an adventure with Where is Galah?, exploring the Australian bush as story characters, hats and backpacks in tow, filling the classroom with laughter and imagination. Many also dressed up as their favourite characters — Elsa, Snow White, and more — bringing fairy tales to life!
